What is a Medium Knotted Hay Net?
The Medium GutzBusta Knotted Hay Net is one of our most popular sizes of hay net. It will easily take half a small bale or even slightly more which means you don’t have to be constantly refilling your hay net, and can easily maintain 24/7 feeding.
The mediums can be used in a float, stable, overnight, in the paddock or any way you wish to use. Can be thrown on the ground for horses that are not shod and whose hooves are bigger than then size of the hay net.
The mouth of our medium hay nets is just over one metre wide… this makes them SUPER easy to fill.
What hole size will suit my horse or livestock?
Available in 3cm, 4cm, and 6cm (60ply), our Slow Feed Hay Nets are made from tough, durable, UV Stabilized, and heat-treated 60ply polyethylene netting. This netting is not water absorbent, so you don’t have to worry about your net getting heavy when soaked in water.
