I bought two Knotless hat nets for my horses and they are the best thing ever. They’ve slowed down my gutsy mare and keep feed off the ground reducing the risk of sand colic. I’m really happy with my purchase.
I have been looking for a bale net in this size and one that doesn’t limit hay intake for a while now. I have a stallion that is the biggest waster of hay and this works beautifully to let him have the intake he wants without the waste.
For our operations small square bales are just inefficient to put up and use, but for individual horses we bale lots of 36 inch bales to feed and it doesn’t slow down the baling and handling process. (Or the feeding time either and that’s important when feeding 100 plus horses)
Going to order another 3x4 for another stallion and figure out some of the larger ones too.
This net has a large opening and is very easy to load. The extreme slow feed net allows my dry lot kept horses to have something to nibble on all day without over eating. Works great for us!
I know have gone back for a 3rd order! These are best hay nets I’ve ever used in 30 years. Soft yet durable and hold a generous portion of hay with little to no waste.
We bought a one bale knotless for our big Clyde X laminitic to slow him down. Worked wonders, also saves me from going out repeatedly through the day to fill smaller nets that he empties too fast.
Hay weigher. Works well, I am now able to ensure my big Clyde X Mare is getting the correct percentage of hay daily per her body weight. No more than she needs in conjunction with feed and time out on the paddock.
I ordered four medium knotless hay nets, two 1 3/4” holes and two 2 1/2” holes, and they are as advertised. These nets are heavy duty yet soft and easy to work with. My horses prefer the larger holes, of course, due to the ease of pulling hay from them. They help to keep the horse area neat and tidy and most certainly reduce hay waste. And, on windy days, they’re a Godsend! At this point, I can’t see myself buying any other brand.

I will replace all the hay nets I currently have with these. I have 2 and they are perfect for holding 10-15 lbs of hay. The net is thick and sturdy.
I'm very impressed with my medium knotted hay net from Gutzbusta. It looks very durable and is larger than I expected. The hole size is perfect for feeding out meadow hay. Very happy with this purchase.

The rope used to cinch is way too small
Also is hard to untie knot to remove net
Rope needs to be a larger diameter
I like the nets - all of them - however if you have a horse that wears blankets and stable sheets AND rubs up against them please use a stable sheet with a closure that cannot attach to net - today I had a heavy blanket with large clips that got hooked to hay net when my horse rubbed up against net

They are so soft and no hard knots to irritate their mouth. I had ordered the mini size a while ago & they came with a bright orange rope, which I replaced with purple rope I bought online. Well when I just received my last order of the medium size net, it came with purple rope which was a nice surprise ! I tie a loop knot at one end of the rope to put the carabiner clip on. I also made a name tag to attach to the carabiner (a cute purple heart metal tag).
I think it would be nice if there were several colors of ropes for buyers to choose from to customize their net & include option to order a name tag as well. Highly recommend these nets!
Have been using this net for a week now. Have had the small two biscuits bags for years which are also great, but this net is so easy to load and just clip up, taking away the fuss of stuffing bags. Love that even if you only feeding a few biscuits you can still use it. Mine is free hanging from a rafter, which is working well for my little herd. Highly recommend and for those new to slow feeding reduces waste and slows greedy ponies down.

My horses and I love this net! It’s so soft and easy to fill. I have used both the 1 3/4” and 1 1/4” holes. To extend hay and reduce consumption, the 1 1/4” is perfect for me. I do wish the rope you close and tie with was a different material (more like the HayChix nets). Will definitely buy again!
I think these may have improved in quality since the last time I ordered (they were already awesome) but I love how light & flexible they are but with enough weight to easily net bales.
Honestly, when I first received my new small knotless hay bags, I was worried the holes would be too small and my horses would get frustrated. Also, the opening of the bags didn't work with the way I fill them. It took us all a couple of days to get used to them, but now everyone is very happy 😊 Horses and humans alike. The fabric and weave is super strong and holds up to my horses abuse. I will definitely buy products from Gutzbusta in the future. Thanks for providing an excellent product !!! 5+ stars 🤩
