This gives the frame a strong, even hold. Some horses can be surprisingly persistent when it comes to pulling at their hay station, and fewer ties in each row increases the chance of the frame working loose or being pulled down over time.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eShod or rough feeders:\u003c\/strong\u003e If your horse is rough on feeders, or is shod, we recommend making your HayStation more secure than cable ties alone. This is why we supply saddle clamps, screws, and wall plugs with every HayStation, so you can mount it more permanently to a rail, fence, or wall. This is especially important for shod horses, as a loose or fallen frame can become a safety hazard.\u003cstrong\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe frame can be mounted to a fence line, rail, panel, stable wall, or yard using either the included mounting brackets or the supplied cable ties. The cable ties provide a quick and simple installation option, making the feeder easy to relocate between paddocks, stables, yards, or feeding areas whenever required.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOnce installed, the feeder can be filled conveniently from the opposite side of the fence or rail, allowing you to add hay without entering the horse's enclosure. Simply load one or two biscuits (flakes\/slabs) of hay at a time until the desired amount is reached.
